The Lost Stars series has good characters, political intrigue, interesting space battles and ground actions – fun stuff. Only quibble, as common with much sci-fi, is depicting a fundamental philosophical and practical confusion. Clearly and succinctl...

I have read this book several times and enjoy more with each reading. The premise is absurd but fittingly, considering it's a stab at meta-fiction (breaking the fourth wall, and all that jazz) and revolves around a long lost, and apparently highly toxic, film Hooper made when he was a teenager. Now, Nicholson has provided that insight. Returned missionaries can also keep up on their acquired language by studying from the dual language Book of Mormon.
